The Channing-Dodson Letters

After the death of playwright and theater critic, Channing Pollock, his daughter Helen made it her mission to give her father's extensive theater collection to Howard University. Established in 1950 and presented at Howard University's Festival of Fine Arts in 1952, these letters, recently rediscovered in the Africana Dance and Theater Collection which is housed in the Channing-Pollock Collection, chronicle Helen Pollock's and Owen Dodson's efforts to create the collection we know today.
